I feel honoured to have been asked to be a Deacon at Welcome Baptist Church at this exciting period of its history. In fact, it is an answer to prayer, as I’ve been seeking how I can contribute to the sharing of God's word in practical ways.

As Property Deacon I will be working with the leadership team on the plans for the land belonging to the church, and other associated matters.

I have an engineering background of managing major utility projects over 25 years, and more recently running a property development business.

I’ve taken the words of Peter 4:10 as inspiration: 'As each has received a gift, as good stewards of God’s varied graces.'

 

Through God’s grace we have a vision for the church for the next few years and beyond. As Luke 1:37 says: 'For nothing will be impossible with God.'
