I have loved working with the young people at Welcome over the last 26 years. I love their curiosity, their honesty, their vitality and their openness — that we are able to encourage them and to see them encourage one another.

 

In this day and age it is sometimes difficult for youngsters to take their faith to school and build on it, but we aim to help them know that church is a safe place for them to grow, preparing them for college, Uni or work.

 

Relationships within the church are so important, and if young people can build these, not only with each other but also with older members of the church, this too will help them.

It's so important for these young people to know that they are loved by us at the Welcome, but more importantly to know that they are loved by God.
